Inside the Preferences of the Spyder / SpyderPro software, these are Advanced Settings which should only be changed if you're aware of their effect:
SpyderPro:
Spyder:
Delta E Warning Level
The Delta E is a mathematical value in color theory which is calculated with the correction done in the Spyder / SpyderPro monitor profile. This value should be as near as possible to 1.0. If you're have an advanced knowledge of color management theory, you have the possibility to set your own custom Warning Level. If not, we recommend you to leave this Level at the standard value of 3.0.
Show RGB Sliders option in Identify Controls screen (SpyderPro only)
If your display settings offer you the ability to change the RGB color channels individually, you can activate this option. In the "Identify Controls" screen you'll be able to activate this option. The calibration process will then suggest you the correct configuration of your RGB sliders if necessary.
SpyderProof Dark Mode
If enabled the SpyderProof function appears in Dark Mode by default. Can be changed in SpyderProof.
Measure continuously during pre-calibration adjustments
If enabled the Spyder and the SpyderPro will measure continuously (approx 3 times per second). You do not have to click the Update button to continue with the calibration.
You can disable this function if the monitors OSD menu comes up unter the Spyder sensor position.
