When I shoot the Spyder LensCal target, the whole of the main target is not in focus; the left edge may be, but the right edge, where the ruler meets it, is not. Can I use Spyder LensCal under these circumstances?
The most likely cause of your problem is not aligning the camera perpendicular to the target before shooting. Since you are having issues with this, try using two tripods, and mounting Spyder LensC...

My eyesight is not good enough to see the focus zone on the LCD on the back of my DSLR; which is one of the reasons I use autofocus in the first place. Is there any allowance for users with reduced visual acuity in Spyder LensCal?
If you have difficulty determining what the results of your Spyder LensCal test shot are on the camera LCD, then download the image to your computer, and blow up the image to 1:1 on screen, centeri...

Is there a mechanism for using Spyder LensCal with video cameras?

I want to set up Spyder LensCal in a photostudio using professional lighting, to adjust the autofocus on all my lenses. Any tips on doing that?
Using lighting centered at the same height as the target would be good (lighting down onto the target might cause direct reflection from the angled ruler) and using lighting from 45 degrees to the ...

I purchased SpyderLensCal to correct the autofocus of my newest DSLR. No problems there. But now I’d like to use it with my older “backup body” and my point and shoot camera as well. Is there any way to do that?
It is certainly possible to confirm the autofocus of any camera with Spyder LensCal; but if your other cameras don’t have internal functions for making and storing autofocus correction adjustments,...

I intend to mount Spyder LensCal on a tripod outdoors, under an awning, as part of a daily photo education session, and have all that day’s students shoot it. Is this type of usage allowed without special permission? Are there any special tips?
Since Spyder LensCal does not use any Datacolor software, there are no Datacolor license agreement software restrictions. So there is no limit to the number of cameras you can calibrate with Spyder...
