Can the SpyderPro (2024) calibrate and create a 3D-LUT profile for my monitor/reference monitor/field monitor/TV?
Can the SpyderPro (2024) calibrate and create a 3D-LUT profile for my monitor / reference monitor / field monitor / TV?
This can be answered by two questions:
- Can your monitor / reference monitor / field monitor / TV (whatever the brand or type) be used as display connected to your computer?
It doesn't matter what adapters or connectors you are using, if you can connect to this to a Windows or Mac system and it shows up as another monitor and can be used "normally", then its good to go.
- Does your display, the connection card or the video editing solution you use have 3D-LUT capabilities and support .cube file format?
Almost all 3D-LUT capable devices will do this.
If these 2 questions are can be answered with yes, you can use the SpyderPro (2024) to calibrate and create a 3D-LUT profile for your monitor / reference monitor / field monitor / TV.
Important: Please always keep in mind that you have to avoid double profiling. Use your 3D-LUT profile for your display only at one point at a time. Active inside of the display, active on the connection card or active in your video editing solution for your display.
