I understand about using the SpyderCHECKR / Spyder Checkr Photo / SpyderCHECKR 24 to build Camera Calibrations. But what else can it be used for?
There are a wide range of standard uses for color targets, and the SpyderCheckr can be used for most any of these. This includes visual comparison functions, and use with third party software such as ICC profile creation tools.
The SpyderCheckr is also great for testing digital cameras, since it includes a wide range of known colors, and a detailed gray ramp with extra values near white and black.
This can help you determine the quality of a camera, or a particular mode in a camera, as well as allowing you to compare cameras, or a camera’s performance over time.
