What do the terms Software Serial Number, Activation Code, and License Code mean?
Software Serial Number (also named Serial Number) is your unique code which is on the back of your software CD case. When you first run the software, you will be prompted to enter a Serial Number or License Code.
If you have not received your License Code yet or do not remember it, you can enter the Serial Number to activate the software.
Activation Code is a code that is issued when you choose to activate the software manually i.e. if you do not have an Internet connection available, you can choose to activate manually. This code will allow you to go to our website: https://activation.datacolor.com and activate your copy of the software.
License Code is a code that is issued once your software has been activated. If you would like to install the software on multiple systems, you can simply enter this code
(instead of the Serial Number) and activated the software immediately. This requires a direct Internet connection during this activation process.
