Spyder5PRO+ / Spyder5ELITE+ software will choose the appropriate profile for the current room light, or the lighting environment, for 3 room light levels: High, Medium and Low. The Spyder5 calibrator needs to be connected at all times for the Automatic Room Light Switching to work.

The SpyderUtility takes care of the switching. Please note that, depending upon your SpyderUtility configuration (To configure, click on preferences – roomlight) and the lighting environment, this will take several minutes to switch since several measurements are being averaged before a change is made.
