I want to use my calibrated projector when displaying images in other locations. Do I need to recalibrate each time I set up my laptop and projector?
Most intentional projection surfaces are quite neutral in tone, and a pre-built profile for your projector, or one of the ambient light variations for it, should do an acceptable job under most conditions you will encounter. If you find you are obliged to project on a significantly tinted surface, it may be worthwhile to calibrate specifically for that surface; otherwise just use your standard profile or its ambient light variations, as needed.
