macOS 14 Sonoma and Apple Silicon M1 / M2 / M3 system support
The current Datacolor Spyder products Spyder X2 Ultra and Spyder X2 Elite with the Spyder X2 software, Spyder X Pro and Spyder X Elite software version, Spyder Checkr software do work with macOS 14 Sonoma.
These software versions come in Universal code that will run natively on Apple Silicon M1 / M2 / M3 systems and also natively on Intel based Mac systems.
The Spyder Print software version 5.6 does also work with macOS 14 Sonoma.
The Spyder Print software works on Intel-based Macs and on systems running the new Apple Silicon M1 / M2 / M3 chip. On an Apple M1 / M2 / M3-based system, the Datacolor Spyder Print software will run seamlessly under the Rosetta2.

Additional information about the Liquid Retina XDR displays of the 14"/16" MacBook Pro - 2021 that use macOS 12 Monterey:
The internal displays of this laptop class can be calibrated when you have installed the macOS Monterey 12.3 (or higher) update. Make sure you have installed that update prior to the calibration.
External monitors connected to these MacBook Pro laptops, on the other hand, can still be calibrated with the Spyder X series products.
If you have installed a previous macOS Monterey 12 version on your 14“ & 16" MacBook Pro 2021 with the Liquid Retina XDR Display and have problems with the calibration of the internal display, please refer to this FAQ article.

Additional information for Datacolor ColorReader, ColorReader Pro or ColorReader EZ users that are running an Apple Silicon M1 / M2 / M3 system:
You can run natively the ColorReader mobile app to use your ColorReader from your Apple M1 / M2 / M3 computer system by installing the ColorReader app as follows:
- Open the Mac App Store
- Click on the Search bar (top left corner)
- Search for "ColorReader"
- Results will show Mac apps by default
- Click on "iPhone and iPad apps" to see results in that category and to install the ColorReader app
- Launch the ColorReader app and use it like on your mobile phone
